I sold one of the Afghans I made for Christmas so I made another one!!

  These are the blankets so far that I have  made for my daughter's family that lost everything in the fire. I have 2 more to go one for her and one for her husband. It is so good to know that all the kids have one now!! They are all so precious to me!!

 Well it has been a long time since I have posted anything!! 





My daughter's family lost everything in the fires in Colorado. So I am making each family member an Afghan!! I have 3 done and 4 more to go!! 









My granddaughters have received theirs and now for the grandsons and mom and dad!! They did find a new house and are all safe, which is what really counts!!

 I made 40 Hats for the Back to School Bash at my Church!! Some kids will have warm heads this Winter!!



I am now starting on Afghans for my grandkids for Christmas!!  My Grand Daughter wanted an Afghan like the one I have on my bed. So here is the start of them!!

I have been making some Afghans for Christmas Presents!!




I also made a shawl for my secret pal!!


I think she really liked it!! It was so fun giving it to her!! Of course she knows who I am and it is no longer a secret. Since I am the only one that makes and gives homemade gifts!!

New Recipe!! these are really good!! 


Roasted Winter Vegetables
Sweet Potatoes, Carrots or Butternut Squash chunked
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
¼ teaspoon Oregano
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoons Olive oil

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400° use some olive oil to oil cookie sheet.

Mix together the vegetables and the spices in a Ziploc bag. Add Olive oil, seal the bag and mix it around with your fingers till they are well coated.

Bake for 45 minutes stirring occasionally till they are cooked through and golden brown.
