I made this little lacy dress for my 3 year old granddaughter!!

She just loved it too!!

Today we have rain. I think the rainy season has started.
Yesterday I got to sprinkle some Turnip seeds out in the garden. Hopefully they will grow plenty this year.

I am working on a Tunisian Crochet blanket for another granddaughter. I hope to get it done soon!!

She picked out the colors, and wanted it stripey.

You all have a great day!!
God Bless You!!

We have been picking Blueberries!!

As you can see some are as big as quarters!!
 Ready for the freezer!!
They are doing well this year especially since I got some pine needles to put around them as mulch. They just love those pine needles!!

I saw these baskets at the local ASU Farmer's Market. I am going to try making them. They are made from Pine needles and Raffia.

It is very interesting to watch the lady that makes them. And she is so willing to teach others!!

I am working on a Light Sage sweater. I crocheted the front top to give it a little bit of a lacy look. I am knitting the rest of it, because I like the stretch of knit.

I have been harvesting leaf lettuce from the garden. We have been having a lot of rain here the last couple of days.
I replaced a blueberry bush and an Eggplant where others have died.  At least today is not so very hot since we are having the rain.
Have a great day!! God Bless You!!

I have all my Easter Knitting and Crocheting done!!
I am now working on a pair of socks.

 You can see the difference
in when they are reflecting and when they are not in these pictures.
I thought these headbands came out cute!!
The apple tree and the Strawberries are blooming!! I really hope we get some of those yummy Granny Smith Apples this year!!
It has been pretty cold the last couple of days. But I checked out my garden. It only has leaf lettuce in it right now. Anyway in about a week I will be able to cut some!! It is still quite wet on the ground and mushy walking out there. The Irises have their nice green leaves poking up. Soon we will see buds on them.
Have a great day!!
God Bless you!!

Hi!! You all!!

I have been doing a lot of knitting for Easter. Working on some Granny Smith Ponies..

 Reflective Hats!!
This one has a lace pattern
This one is for a boy!!
 And Reflective Wrist bands.
I really like this yarn. I got it from Hobby Lobby. It is the I Love This Yarn Reflective.
I just would like for them to get a lot more colors of it. I can only find orange and yellow.

In the garden I have Leaf Lettuce up. I am really ready to see it grow enough to cut.
I love leaf lettuce. Especially on sandwiches. A little meat and a LOT of lettuce!!

You all have a great day!!
God Bless You!!

Went to Hobby Lobby to look for that Reflective yarn that Red Heart makes. Well it seems that my Hobby Lobby is discontinuing Red Heart yarn. Anyway they have 2 colors of I Love This Yarn with reflective thread in it. So I made a hat.

The top one I didn't use the flash on. The bottom one I did. So you can see how it reflects.
They only have bright yellow and orange colors. It would be great if they would add some more like blue and green. Anyway all in all I think this yarn is really interesting!!

Today my neighbor had his tractor and trailer out and he was raking up pine needles!! I really needed some for around my blueberry bushes!! (they love pine needles) So I went to ask him for some of them. He brought them over and even helped me put them around the bushes!! Yay!!

I also got to check out my strawberry plants today. They overwintered great!! There is a lot of green there!! I am hoping to have a great garden year this year!!

God Bless You!!

I made this Pink Panther and Rub My Belly Kitten for two of my granddaughters
 for Valentines day.

The yarn was worsted weight and a really small Crochet Hook. Made them rough on the fingers. But I think they came out cute!!
I also made some Microwaveable Heating pads for my other grandchildren. I used Cotton material with hearts and chocolates printed on them. I filled them with rice and Dried Lavender flowers. They were so happy. They use them when their legs get cramps in them at night. We used to call it growing pains. I forgot to take pictures of the heating pads though.
