Ok what do you do with yarn that someone gives to you, where they started making something, but you don't know what.
A friend gave me this yarn that is done in a bunch of Hairpin lace.
I thought for a while then I came up with a granny square hairpin lace afghan to donate to a place that gives blankets and hats to terminally ill patients, to keep them warm. They are called Hope Circle.
I'm using some other yarn that I had in my stash to make the granny squares.

Recently in Ravelry I have added a couple of more patterns to my designs. Some socks and some baby booties. Our group of ladies that meet on Thursday nights are thinking of making baby booties for the Pregnancy Resource Center. One of the ladies said that they were really in need of them.

Have a great day!!
God Bless You!!
Mary

I look forward to seeing the finished afghan. I have not done hairpin lace since the late '60's. Yours will look beautiful!

I love the granny squares with the hair pin lace. I have never done that.
